What is Bakugan Battle Brawlers?

Bakugan Battle Brawlers or Bakugan Batoru Burzu is a Japanese cartoon television series. This anime is produced by TMS Entertainment and Japan Vistec under the direction of Mitsuo Hashimoto. The story focuses on the lives of creatures called Bakugan and the battle brawlers who control them.

This action adventure anime is not only produced in Japanese language version, but also in English. The English language version has been released on the Canadian network, Teletoon, and then on United States, by Cartoon Network. It makes the Bakugan Battle Brawler became a popular anime among the children around the world.

In conjunction with the anime series, Sega Toys and Spin Master released a strategic game called Bakugan. Using metal cards and magnetic spring-loaded miniature figures, this toy is representing the Bakugan. The toy has a small sphere that magnetically morph into powerful Bakugan warriors when they roll onto the metal gate cards. The goal of this game is to capture three of the opponent’s Gate cards.

Each set of Bakugan Battle Pack contains 6 Bakugan, 6 Metal Gate Cards, 6 Ability cards and a rule book. If we compare this product with the Bakugan Starter Pack, it has more Bakugans, Gate Cards, and Ability Cards inside. This game can be played by two up to four players.

How To Play Bakugan?

How to play this game? First, all of the players must prepare his or her team, which consists of three Bakugans. Next, place your Gate cards. Use your strategy to place your Gate cards effectively and carefully, because each card will affect the battle differently. G-Power from the Bakugan, Ability cards (at player’s option), Traps (at player’s option), and Gate card are summed to determine the battle’s winner. Try to be the first who capture three Gate cards, because there is only one player who can be the winner of the Bakugan battle.

The game has spawned numerous accessories, such as carry clips, launchers, soft plastic and hard plastic play area mats and special gauntlets. Each of them has a different function. Carry clip is used to store three Bakugan marbles at a time. Launcher is used to fire the marbles at the game arena and the special gauntlet to store cards with built-in calculators to allow players to quickly calculate the totals of “G-Power”.

This toy is aimed for six-year-old children and up. May you can help your child to understand the rule of the game when he or she play this for the first time.
